Data protection

We comply with applicable national and regional laws and regulations on personal data protection in the countries involved in this project (Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East, and Oceania), and we adhere to relevant professional codes of conduct and ethics, including ASOCS, ESOMAR and EphMRA.

This includes, where applicable:

• Europe: the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant national implementing laws.
• Americas: the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) (United States), PIPEDA – Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada), LGPD – Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (Brazil, Law No. 13,709/2018), and Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 25,326).
• Asia and Middle East: APPI – Act on the Protection of Personal Information and applicable Japanese government privacy guidelines (Japan), DPDP Act – Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), PDPA – Personal Data Protection Act (Singapore), and applicable data protection regulations in the Middle East (e.g., Kuwait).
• Oceania: the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) (Australia).

The purpose of this questionnaire is solely to gather your opinions and has no promotional intent. No one will attempt to sell you anything. All information you provide will remain confidential and will be analyzed and presented only in aggregated form, without any information that could identify you. You may withdraw from the study at any time and/or choose not to disclose certain information.

Thus, the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your personal information are managed as indicated below.

Collected personal information

In accordance with the data protection law from Europe, Americas, Asia and Middle East, Oceania, we inform you that we only collect and process personal data necessary for the study.

Personal data collected during the survey will be kept for the duration of the study (approximately 6 months) and then deleted. Therefore, we will not be able to identify information about you if you send us an access request once the study is completed.

Be assured that we make every effort to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data.

The personal information collected in this project includes your name, email address, and place of practice.

Reasons for collecting your personal data

Your personal data is collected to send you an email containing the link to access this online questionnaire and a reminder email in case of partial completion of the questionnaire, if applicable.

We commit to not selling, sharing, or distributing your personal information in any way to third parties, except as provided in this Privacy Policy.
